Our dog is so finicky about pills and medications, everything requires wrapping in something and even then he sometimes manages to spit out the pill. THIS is like a soft cookie that he swallowed with ease. He has hip dysplasia, a painful thing that can happen when he’s playing and suddenly yelps in pain. What a GREAT find! We have two German Shepherds. The 10-year-old lost his leg due to bone cancer several years back. As he has grown older he has also developed hip dysplasia, so getting around is now a significantly difficult task for him. We have another Shepherd who is 8. We decided that to prevent problems in the 8-year-old, and to treat current joint problems in the 10-year-old, we would supplement their diet with these chews. Both dogs think these taste just fine and they are eager to get them each day.
